Am I the one that I want to be?
Well, I was searching some pieces of art over the net but I didn’t find anything special, that make me feel a strange sense in my extremely art criticism. I looked for exactly an hour some pictures or real works of art made in the Renaissance but they didn’t filled my classification target (just kidding), but then I remember a painting that I saw in some place, the problem was that I couldn’t remember the name of the piece of art. The painting was about two human maybe one good and one was a single mortal, they were stretching like trying to touch each other with their index finger. So firstly, like an brainless I began to search my famous painting with some weird names like “The painting of the fingers” or “God’s finger”, then I saw something related to Michelangelo and I click it, then my eyes couldn’t see because that painting was made by Michelangelo and I didn’t knew it, and if this is extreme the painting is in the vault of the Sistine Chapel, one of the most art decored.
Let’s stop telling my story, because if I continue I will never end.
Then when I chose the painting, I began to think what did I feel when I saw it and I began to plan my perfect representation.
The first thing that I did was that I took my some important things that I have in my bedroom, and I let them in one of my favorites box, which is decorated with guess what? ¡comics! , then I went up to the roof of my house and watched for a while the beautiful scene that my representation will project it, I got inspired thinking in te people who has help me all the time , so then I began my photo shop with the help of my brother Juan Pablo and this is the thing that it means for me this painting.
The real meaning
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living soul."(Gn.1.27)
To me it represents a weak soul that needs the help of God, he the powerful creature of the entire universe, who can destroy and create at the same time, who cans love and maybe hate, but he is the one that has clemency and loves us like nobody.
And now I disagree with the concept of Michelangelo who tells that the man is now similar to god, that the human can touch him. But thinking inside my mind I reach the idea that all the humans can touch God, but only in their own hearts. They can touch him but only by a spiritual form because god is a soul and we are such a soul to but we are weak soul that can’t touch the most powerful one.
In this moment I’m very inspired so maybe I could like embarrass you but it doesn’t matter because I want to express myself, maybe you will say that im a crazy catholic but you are wrong I am just expressing what I feel using my experiences of my life that helped me to think about many things in my life.
If we really want to talk with God or even touch him like in the painting we need to be in silence and reflexing about the things that we have, we shouldn’t be shy everything that we want to ask to God we should ask him, because he is helping us in every moment and he will find the way to help us, we only need to be humble like in the painting and he will give us strength.
